www.cbsenet.nic.in - CBSE UGC NET 2018 Admit card, Fees and How to apply

www.cbsenet.nic.in is the official website for applying National Eligibility Test. On behalf of university grants commission, the central board of Secondary education has issued the notification for the examination dates. The exam will be conducted on 27th December 2015.
CBSE will conduct the exam twice in a year. This test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the post of professor or junior research fellowship at Indian Universities.

  • The paper will be divided into 3 papers.
  • Last date for submitting application from - 1st November 2015
  • Last date for payment of fee -2nd November 2015
  • Exam based on - General Knowledge
  • Exam Fees - 600 RS
  • Fees can be paid through credit card, Debit card ,e-chellan
  • e-chellan can be paid ICICI, HDFC and canera bank. 
  • CBSE will conduct the exam twice in a year
Eligibility
  • Those who have a master degree or its equivalent from a recognized university can apply the NET Exam
  • Those candidate degree based on the subject like Humanities, Electronic Science, Social Science, Computer Science and Application etc.
  • Those candidate scored a minimum 55 percentage in their qualifying degree can apply the exam.
  • Those candidates who have appeared for their final exams and are awaiting their results can apply.
  • Those candidate who are yet to take their exams are also eligible to apply. 
Age
  • For Junior Research candidate age limit is not more than 28 years.
Paper Pattern
  • Paper I will be for a duration of one hour 15 minutes and will comprise of 60 questions, out of which the candidates are required to attempt 50 questions. It will carry a total of 100 marks.
  • Paper II will be for a duration of one hour 15 minutes and will comprise of 50 questions, all of which are compulsory. It will carry a total of 100 marks.
  • Paper III will be for a duration of two hours and 30 minutes and will comprise of 70 questions, all of which are compulsory. It will carry a total of 150 marks.
Important dates:
  • The last date for submitting application forms is 1st November 2015.
  • The last date for payment of fee is 2nd November 2015.
  • The CBSE UGC NET will be conducted on 27 December 2015.
